"Scandoval" is the fan-coined name for the controversy that took place during Stranded: Season 34, in which contestants Chandler "Chan" Vaughn and Lola Rivera were revealed to have been in a romantic relationship prior to the game. The two hid their connection from production and the other castaways, manipulating alliances and edit perception to advance to the final three. The scandal erupted when behind-the-scenes camera footage caught them kissing off-camera near the catering tent on Day 33.
